Office shoes have always been a part of a man’s shoe wardrobe. But with plenty more options to consider these days it is easier to find a pair that is best suited to you.

Firstly you have your traditional black work shoe. These have a small flat heel, a square toe and tie with a lace. Although these have been around for years, you still cannot beat the tradition. Do go for leather if you can as they are easy to maintain and wear. You can polish them to keep them shiny, and when you walk in them they are less likely to rub and create blisters. So often man made fabric shoes will rub the back of your foot raw.

For me shoes are more important than clothes. And I have lots of pairs. However, I wouldn’t mind adding a few more from Brian Atwood Spring/ Summer 2011 collection.
I totally love the leopard shoes with lace insets. They look fabulous and are very trendy this season. Besides, I have an eye on zebra-printed laced high shoes. A gorgeous pair.

HOW do you give biker chicks, leopard print bearing Goths and women whose outfits scream androgyny a collective romance?
It’s a feat only Riccardo Tisci could take on, and with this week’s starriest front row in attendance –Justin Timberlake and Courtney Love among them – he set about making his masterful tailoring as fierce as it can be.

“I WAS never the girl next door” – Bettie Page’s quote opened the Dior show this afternoon and, if we weren’t already in a good mood after the colour spectacular we saw in Milan this week, we certainly are now.
Announcing that Dior had “dropped anchor at a South Pacific naval base”, Galliano started with sassy naval uniforms that could have come straight off a saucy postcard, the models’ red lips and stiffened, glossy fringed hair dos giving them the air of perfect pin-ups – Coco Rocha pouting and winking at the camera pulled it off to a T.

This NYFW was total madness for us at Trendland. Besides our normal daily dose of inspiration, we were attending shows and parties, and shooting street style video outside all the shows to capture everyone in their Sunday best. September is always a much more vibrant fashion week than February, but this season the city really felt like it was bursting with people and energy.
The outside of the shows have become a total mad house of photo/style bloggers running after anyone with style like they work for X17 and are getting a Brangelina exclusive. I mean its nuts what blogs have done.
